Tomorrow, we celebrate tiny, jojo, titus Benjamin skinner. He makes us laugh the most. His laughter is infectious and from the belly. His jokes are usually goofy. His mind at 5 turning 6 boggles my brain sometimes. He can build anything out of anything. He is our thinker. He has "shocked the world in kindergarten. Well, not really the world" but us. He also has an amazing teacher that loves him so that helps.
He prides himself on never getting in trouble yet in kindergarten and tells us often that he almost did, but made the kid who was about to tell on him laugh so they would forget. He drives asa and jude insane most days yet they are both scared to take him. He is smart as a whip. He can remember things in vivid detail we have to think hard to remember from when he was 2 and 3. It really blows my mind sometimes.
He he can play with anyone on most days. Then there are the days the tiny terror rears its head and makes us pray all the way to work or back to bed for a mental nap.
He loves a gift whether giving or receiving. He enjoys sports that come with snacks and shocked us all in basketball this year. It may just be his thing.
He loves hard and has a will that I would like to break sometimes but I know he will do great things with it one day. He wants to be friends with the troublemakers more than the peacemakers so my prayer is always he leads a church and not a gang. I say that jokingly if you dont know me IRL. 🤣
Our world would be lost without our JoJo tiny Skinner. He makes our days pass with laughter or makes bed time happen faster depending on the day.
He is so sweet and people dont believe his "character" at times. It's there. We tell him all the time, "shock the world jojo." I have no doubt he will one day.
He eats nothing remotely healthy other than bananas and apples on occasion, but loves a non healthy yogurt and we count our wins. 🤣. He ate cinnamon toast today and approved. He even said, "I like something for breakfast besides sugary apple Jack's and syrup on my pancakes and waffles." I didnt have the heart to tell him the cinnamon toast was sugar. Bless him and his sweet tooth.
I cant believe this child is 6, but I appreciate his birthday yearly. It is always a time of reflection for me and I ALWAYS dream of the day he "gets why." I love the next 20 days because of the memories and emotions. More, because this one has a beautiful story that most dont. He is our miracle baby for sure.
